Summer Camp

Mission

Provide the tools and knowledge to enable students to learn how music can inspire them to create and express themselves.

What To Expect

The Franklin Music Academy summer camp is a week long journey of dynamic discovery through music and movement for all musical skill levels. Students must be at least age 6 to 12 years old. There are also leadership opportunities for older campers with music experience up to 18 years old. This camp provides an opportunity for kids to explore the connection between music and movement by giving them hands-on instruction playing drums, guitar, keyboard, bass, and singing. Our kinesthetic approach connects rhythm, movement, and expression through a quick morning yoga session, performance, and interactive games.

Campers Will Enjoy

We have a variation of activities that campers will enjoy throughout our week-long summer camp to keep kids having fun and learning. While our camp has a heavy emphasis on music education, it is important to break up the day with activities. Each activity provides leadership roles for older students and the right mix of fun for the younger students.
