Due to the Covid-19 pandemic we will not be hosting any summer camps in large groups. Instead we have opted to teach only one student at a time privately for families that want to attend our music studio in person. Alternatively, students may register for online music lessons.
For students who are new to our music school and have limited to no experience in playing instruments, we have designed an Online Beginner Group Guitar Class that is suitable for kids ages 7 to 12. Kids from various cities will be able to learn and grow together musically in a group, but from the comfort of their own homes online. This program has limited seats available. Contact us now to register!
We have more online classes available for kids of all ages all summer. Contact us for more information on alternative music lessons.
What does a typical summer camp look like?
Provide the tools and knowledge to enable students to learn how music can inspire them to create and express themselves.
What To Expect
The Franklin Music Academy summer camp is a week long journey of dynamic discovery through music and movement for all musical skill levels. This music summer camp is great for elementary school and middle school students. Campers must be at least age 7 to 12 years old. (Some exceptions may be given). There are also leadership opportunities for older campers with music experience up to 18 years old. This camp provides an opportunity for kids to explore the connection between music and movement by giving them hands-on instruction playing drums, guitar, keyboard, bass, and singing. Our kinesthetic approach connects rhythm, movement, and expression through a quick morning yoga session, performance, and interactive games.
Campers Will Enjoy
We have a variation of activities that campers will enjoy throughout our week-long music summer camp to keep kids having fun and learning. While our camp has a heavy emphasis on music education, it is important to break up the day with activities. Each activity provides leadership roles for older students and the right mix of fun for the younger students.
