Private Music Lesson Tuition
Private music lessons are $175 per month for weekly 30-minute sessions on our school-year calendar. Tuition includes recitals and FMA-created learning materials. Method books and card-processing fees are additional. Start with a $49 trial lesson, credited toward your first month’s tuition if you enroll.

Does tuition change during holiday months?
Monthly tuition stays the same throughout the September–May school year. Our calendar includes 35 lessons, with scheduled holiday breaks already factored into the monthly rate. This keeps your payment predictable, even when some months have more lesson dates than others.
Is there a long-term commitment?
Lessons are month-to-month. In a Forbes interview, author Josh Kaufman explains how focused practice can help beginners move past early frustration and build new skills. We encourage families to stay for at least one semester to give students time to build a practice routine, develop foundational skills, and notice their progress. Every student learns at their own pace.
